    • Allstate is the largest public lines insurance company in the United States and the second largest underwriter in the world. They are the largest publicly held insurance company in the country, and are represented by more than 14,000 dedicated agents, as well as policies distributed through independent agents, banks and other institutions. Approximately 60% of all policies written through Allstate are auto insurance policies.

    Financial Rating

    Allstate holds an A+ rating with the A.M. Best ratings company. One exception is the company's Florida subsidiary, Allstate Floridian Insurance Company, which holds a B+ rating. While it is true that an A+ rating indicates that improvement is necessary, it is imperative to note that many insurance companies have been downgraded since the housing and insurance collapse of 2008, and that an A+ rating still marks the company as being among the top of their field.

      Allstate offer: many city agents, very close to local agent, reasonable premium, easy access by Internet, offer additional insurance for other kind of vehicles, good services, cheep home insurance.

      Not sure yet, January, 2012

      I asked for cheaper liability insurance (was with Geico) as my car is 11 years old and paid for. I now have a full coverage (almost) policy at $30 more a month than my other policy and wondering how I ended up here.

      allstate ins review of perfor, January, 2012

      I started with Allstate as an insured. Then I became an agent for nine yrs. The Customer service of claims is one of the best in the industry. they really have it down to a science. Auto/homeowner-catastrophic claims..AWESOME. The rates are a tad higher that I would like however again the claim dept makes up for that. Having an agent that's on your side is worth it all when really needed

      never needed them yet to find out! they came to my house, gave me both renters and auto prices, set up my payment plan. And as I said I have never needed there services as of todays date!
