Cheaper insurance car & renters, January, 2012
Price is a little too high for car and renters. Need price of car insurance and renters to be below $120. per month. I do not live in a high crime area

policy cost, January, 2012
I have been with them for AT least 40 years in Iowa and when I moved to Fla my payments quadrupled. I have had my car 11 years and have never had an accident or claim on it. I don't understand why I don't get a lower rate.

Overall unsatisfied, January, 2012
I was insured with State Farm for almost 7 years when they decided to drop me. I was never involved in an accident or even received a speeding ticket in the first 5 years I was insured with them. Myself and my husband were involved in accidents within a year of each other. They decided to drop us after. The people that work at the agent's offices are not the friendliest either.

Outrageous cost, January, 2012
I have been with State Farm in Iowa for over 40 years and got good service, I moved to Fla. and every 6 months my insurance goes up. I have not had an accident and am a good driver, so don't understand why they are gouging us all.

My State Farm guy is very committed to me, he even sends me emailed on tips to keep me and my stuff safe. If I got a question any time I can call him and get answers.

State Farm has always been extremely fair with when we filed a claim and were prompt about sending out an adjuster, etc. Long-time satisfied customer with automobile and homeowners and all company vehicles insured with State Farm. Representative very accomodating as is his secretary. A very trustworthy company.

Bad Faith Insurance Company,like ALLSTATE, January, 2012
Paid Premiums, faithful customer,when hit in AUgust by a drinking driver (ALLSTATE), my State Farm agent on Gloucester St, Brunswick, GA NEVER filed my claim. I never got a rental car from them, 2 weeks later, I had to go get a rental on MY CHARGE card! ONe month later, still no response from either company.FIVE months now, I still have no resolve with either company. ALLSTATE did pay $750 of the $1100 rental car via check. Still under a doctor's care suffering EVERY DAY and NIGHT, a real pain! Still they do not want to give me fair amount for my car, $7600 and it is valued at $11,000-13,000. I am supposed to be MADE WHOLE, without financial hardship, i.e. like this accident never happened (regarding car), now I am forced to go get a loan, when I was LOAN FREE=no car payments. Now to get a decent car, I am forced to get a car loan for 5-6 years. for the money they want to give me , I can purchase a car with over 175,000 miles and is over 9 years old!! Somehow, I do not think that is in my BEST interest or even fair to me! I contacted the insurance Commission in Atlanta, GA-they responded they say nothing WRONG with the way the insurance company has responded to my claim!! WHOA-say what? Are they asleep in that office? NOPE, their SALARY is PAID by the ins. companies, which WE PAY -as in our paid premiums. Talk about contradictory-sounds like BIG BROTHER has been coaching them. Go figure, they originate in ILLINOIS!

State Farm Insured my Car and Home, January, 2012
We have had State Farm for over 20 years and would never change. We have had good coustomer service from them for two accidents. Everything was taken care of right away with no questions. Checks were made out and everything was taken care of.

State Farm Insurance Review, January, 2012
Been insured for 38 years for Mult car, home, life and other items and very happy. My husband works for Allstate and even with their employee discount, they cannot come close to our rates and benefits. We have grandfathered benefits and our rates have only gone down.

State Farm, January, 2012
State Farm has been a good company for us. We have had car insurance with them for a long time: 20 years. We have made a few claims with them and coverage went up a little. We have several vehicles, so we get a discount for that and have not had recent claims. The agent is local and we can call her whenever there is a problem, which is not frequently.

Lack of service, January, 2012
Two issues have taken place that have me wanting to change companys. 1. issue was a few years back the area I lived in was heavily hit by the reminated of hurricane "ike". I had roof damage via quotes from 3 roofing companys. I live in a heavily wooded area and have a shingle roof. The roof was approximatly 15-18 years old. I was told that the "seal" was gone over the majority of the roof with some shingle damage. They would not replace the entire roof, only 1/4 of it. my home is a large log home and in no way would replacing part of the shingles solve the problem...nor would it match. 2. issue was trying to replace a windshied in a 2001 jeep wrangler, I had called once the vehile was paid off and downgraded coverage, then built it back up realizing that a broken windshied was not covered. A couple of months later, the windshield was broken again...and the company stated that they had no record of me putting the coverage back to cover such an event..
